We recently used this book to plan a trip to New York with our grandchildren. It was very helpful, although it doesn't, of course, contain all the local little restaurants.

My husband & I are planning a trip to New York & don't want to waste time or money. We grab this book and our laptop and look up menus to only the top rated places. It has been so much fun.

I have been using Zagats for years. Always useful though missing a great number of restaurants and unfortunately the web site is difficult to use.
