Images of the iconic feline with a pair of strawberries tucked by one ear, accompanied by bear, mouse, and butterfly friends, decorate the plate’s surface, the sides of the bowl and the drinkware, and the handles of the flatware. Made out of durable, food-safe melamine resin, the set’s plate, bowl, and drinkware are BPA-free and meet or exceed all federal and state legislation restricting the amount of various phthalates to ensure the tableware’s child safety. In addition to stringent abidance to the law, Zak thoroughly tests all items for the presence of any unhealthy elements and the overall user-friendliness of their products before releasing them for sale. My only complaint is that the cup with the straw isn't
spill-proof. But this set is great & the designs haven't faded despite many washes in the dishwasher

Everything has held up well to use and cycles in the dishwasher. I'm not a huge fan of the straw cup as the straw (obviously) doesn't get cleaned in a dishwasher.... But that just makes me lazy.
