We just bought a kegerator and needed a pitcher for the beer. This one is great. It's not ugly and it holds a lot of beer - a lot more than it looks like.
It would also be good for other beverages. It doesn't look cheap. Sure, you can tell it's plastic, but it looks similar to blown glass pitchers.

I have been using this for the last year , and love it. It holds just enough - iced tea, iced coffee, fruit juices. I also like the plastic because it is not heavy and easy to pour. It looks nice on a table and does not have a cheap look at all. I do hand wash mine since in is so easy to with two sweeps of the sponge and rinse and it still has stayed crystal clear. I can not speak for how well it would hold up in the dishwasher as most of these plastics get cloudy in the dishwasher. I great buy.
