4.0 out of 5 stars Tough, light & fun, January 9, 2007

I bought these for my children, who started eating soft-yolk eggs after watching their grandpa. They've been dropped a few times on the tile floor, and none have broken or cracked. The children love the bright and fun colors. They are lighter in weight than the ceramic ones, but we don't have any problems with the eggs tipping over. They are the perfect size for large-sized eggs, but may be a bit small for Jumbo sized ones. They are not meant for the microwave.

These and some egg spoons make fun gifts. They are also fun for Easter treats. Just put a dyed egg or life-sized chocolate egg in it and decorate or wrap with clear tissue. Fill with sand or uncooked rice grains and they make good holders for incense sticks.

The cups are small and a large egg perches up on the rim. Medium or small eggs sit farther down into the cup.

I bought these egg cups because I have children under five that love 3 minute eggs and all the egg cups I have are breakable. Now we just use these because they are so cute. They are very durable, thick melamine plastic.

Loved the bright colors. These are very short making them sturdy for soft boiled eggs, but I have found many uses for them. I have served cocktail sauce, maple syrup and even mustard for breakfast sauce. Its a handy side dish for condiments and my granddaughter just loves being served anything in it. Very happy with the purchase.

These are very cute and well made. I use them to store hard boiled eggs in the fridge so the eggs wont get lost and forgotten. Great for a healthy snack, without the yolk.
