I replaced a CPU fan on my wife's machine that sounded like a leaf blower. This fan was easy to install and is very quiet. Not dead silent, but pleasantly quiet. My wife appreciates it and so do I. This is a good fan and it's a good value.

I had the stock AMD fan on a Phenom Quad core and it was just LOUD. It had to be 75 db which is loud.
I bought this Zalman fan and no it is not silent, but it is at least 80% quieter than the AMD stock fan. It does make noise but I would say it's "acceptable." I'm glad I bought it! |
