The Zalman HD160 Home Theatre PC Enclosure makes a lounge out of any room in the house. This black PC case operates your high-end home audio system in silence. The 5.25-inch and 3.5-inch exposed bays, along with the four 3.5-inch internal bays, provide plenty of expansion room--four or more hard disks can be installed on antivibration mounts. The push-open door-style front input/output panel houses two USB ports, a 1394 port, and microphone and headphone jacks.

Built entirely of aluminum, this sturdy enclosure features multiple air inlets adjacent to all major heat-generating components to help optimize ventilation and cooling. For energy conservation, the HD160 can be operated at minimum fan speed with Zalman's silent cooling solutions, consuming less power than regular systems. The PC case prevents vibration with pads on the bottom part of the hard disk; friction with the screws can be minimized by attaching the circular vibration-preventing pads on the top part of the hard disk.

Poor instructions and difficult to build and set up. You have to go into command code to activate the remote. The hard drive cage and optical drive cage are a PITA! You need a long screw driver with a magnetic tip to install the mounting screws. The new version is greatly improved with better cages. If you want to use Vista and Zalman the new version of this case is the best that Zalman has to offer. The Upscale touch screen model does not work with Vista ATT. I'd recomend Silverstone over the Zalman cases even if the Silverstone is made out of steel and not aluminium as is the Zalman. After the install and getting the bugs worked out this unit is pretty good - getting to this point is the hard part.
