I used these heatsinks and an Antec Spot Cool to reduce noise and lower the temps on my EVGA nVidia 780i board. The stock fan is small and loud. I placed the Zalman heatsinks on spots all over the existing stock heatsink to improve surface availability. Then I attached the Spot Cool to blow down on the whole setup. Works great, lowered temps by about 6 to 8 degrees centigrade and reduced the fan noise to below threshold of the everything else in my system. A quick and easy fix to the loud and high temp stock solution, since the integrated heatpipes make total replacement very difficult at best.

Works as advertised.
I needed to replace the ones that came with my vf900 because my old card got rma'ed. Only thing that kept it from getting five stars was that four of the eight were a different design. I expected them all to be the angled fins, but four were tall vertical fins, so I couldn't use them all. It probably said that somewhere, and I didn't notice. I just wish they sold them all the same

These things are GREAT at cooling! They're a lot smaller than i expected but they work REALLY well.
I used these on my Linksys WRT54G Router because the CPU kept overheating.
VERY easy to install. Just popped them out of the packaging, took off the film on the adhesive backing and stuck it on!

If you're looking for a quick and easy cooling solution for a small cpu or ram then go with these.

I bought these to go on the VRAM for my 8600GTS when I installed the water block. It came with my WC-202 and I thought I may aswell install it. The stick on design works well. Make sure you clean the RAM surface very well first. These and the waterblock brought the temps from 60/75 idle/gamng down to 45/60 idle/gaming even with a 20% OC in Oblivion and ETQW. One thing to know is that they are shorter than square. I really thought the crowns were taller, but they work extremely well.

Stuck those in the memory chips of my video card, and they become hot like the chips, which means the heat transfer it excellent.
I found a box of these at a local retailer, and while the package said it had 4 tall and 4 short ones, they were all short ones, which was my preference anyway so I could fit these under the card's cooler which had very little clearance. They fit really well on my Asus EN9500GT graphics card.
I also combined these with an Antec "Spot Cool" fan (ASIN B000I5KSNQ)
with amazing results.

Well they do exactly what the are designed to do and look great while doing it. The sticky on them is nice and strong so there is no need to worry about them falling off. I have bought some cheaper non-Zalman ones in the past and it seems they all eventually fall off, due to other mnfg. using a weaker or cheaper sticky tape. Not so here will these Zalmans, once you place them they are stuck nice and strong. I am going to pick up somemore to put on my new EVGA 8800gt. They are also good to use on the motherboard mosfets on any PC. If you don't already have some, get some. They will help your hardware have a longer life.
