This review is from: Zambia: The Songs of Mukanda (Audio CD)
This is a collection of very sacred songs of the Lunda people of Northwestern,Zambia.
They are sung as part of the Mukanda ceremony which is a rite-of-passage for boys following circumcision. Uncircumcised men are forbidden to participate in the singing of these songs.

If I close my eyes, I am back in Zambia. Good vocals and has captured the pure energy. Would like to have had more drum.
