This is the 747s - an energetic foursome based in the UK who are making quite a reputation for themselves both in their homeland and abroad. Quickly snapped up by ARK Recordings in London, 747s hooked up with Arctic Monkeys knob twiddler Mike Crossey to record their debut album 'Zampano'. From here the band spent months on the road touring with the likes of The Strokes, The Thrills, Jet, Futureheads and Arctic Monkeys. They have also blazed the stages of every music festival under the sun, setting reviewers tongues wagging with their killer live performances.

this is good stuff! if you like what the beatles did, then this cd should get a spot on your shelf. its well written, its got a good beat, good lyrics, and it doesnt bore you half way through. only problem of course, is that it is an import, so try and find it somewhere for less than 17 dollars. all in all, i would recommend this if you a) like the beatles and b) have the money. so all you rich beatles lovers out there can rejoice!
