I bought this product after looking for mice that the veterinarian gives out.

My cat loves the little fury mice at the vet, so I thought I would try to buy the same ones. The vet said that their mice "come in a cheese wedge box", so I figured I found the right ones when I bought this product.

These mice "look" the same on the outside, but are very different on the inside. The vet's mice are made of a rigid plastic shell with some kind of rattler inside. These mice are filled with shredded pieces of cardboard! Once my cat rips open the mice, the shredded cardboard gets everywhere and needs to be picked up.

I would love to find mice that look exactly like these, but made of rigid, hollow plastic instead.

I give this product a 4/5 because my cat really loves these mice, but I don't love the mess they make once she rips them open.

These are literally the ONLY mice my cats will play with. They are fussy (what cats aren't?) and do not like any other kind of mouse. And, even within this box, they only want the black or the gray ones ... they won't play with the white ones. They also won't play with the rainbow mice - which have the sound pellets in them.
Fortunately these are well made ... made well enough that even when the dogs get ahold of them (which they do nearly daily) they aren't able to take them apart in seconds!
I buy one of these wedges every month -- the cats have to have a new mouse every night. If you're a cat person, well ... you understand ... (anyway, the dogs so often get them that we have to replace them frequently).

The mice are great, my kitten bats them all around the house. The fur comes off them after awhile, but there are always more for her to play with. They end up under the fridge, stove, and sofa, so I like buying them in bulk. The shipping was the only thing that I had issue with, the mice weigh less than a pound, they could be shipped priority for $4.80 but I had to pay $8.95 which is more than for books.

These Zanies mice are very small and have short fur. I had given my cat some larger mice before and she lost them all, so I thought sixty mice would be a better buy. Problem is, I gave her one and she hasn't lost it for lack of interest. Yes, she plays with it, but she doesn't play with it nearly as much as she played with the larger furrier ones. I'm afraid I now have too many fur mice on my hands.

These are the only mice to get if you want the best for your cat. I previously placed an order and received a substitute product and there is no comparison. When the Zanies mice arrived we put the two side by side and the difference was immediatley apparent. The attention to safety and the quality of the construction make Zanies mice the only choice for my pampered pets!

I never thought my cat would love these as much as she does. She will play fetch and spend hours running back and forth after these things. They are durable however when they do wear out I don't feel bad about throwing them away because the price is so reasonable. My mom has 2 kittens and I gave her a few...they love them too. Awesome toy for the price.

These little fury creatures bring such joy to my cat each day. Even though the hunt and its final killing may only last a few minutes, I know my cat has had fun throwing the little toy around the house and at the end tearing it into pieces. I'm glad I can provide happiness to my indoor cat with a pseudo mouse that cost around 30 cents apiece.

I'm glad we have 60 mice for our one cat.... she hides them everywhere! These are her favorite toys and carries them around in her mouth wanting to play fetch. She loves bopping them around, drowning them in her water dish, and chasing after them. Very good product! The cheese wedge display isn't really useful unless you have a store.

Oh boy - Christmas came early here in Catville! 60 - count 'em - 60 little fur mice all being pulled out of the cheese wedge box and all over the floor? Where do you start to play? This produced great excitement at our house - and once I picked up all the mice, there's just a few to hunt and pounce on - they almost seem real!

I've bought many stuffed mice for my cats and haven't been particularly happy with any of them, but these are the worst. They're insubstantially made and the cats have them destroyed in under 30 minutes, with the cardboard stuffing strewn around the house. I still have most of the package because I don't look forward to cleaning up the mess.
