this is a better quality laser that lasted me and my cat a good nine months of everyday use.
this mouse design fits so nice in your hand too, it's just better than the cheaper lasers.
my cat knows the word 'mouse' (which means 'laser' to her). she loves the toy so much i have to keep it closed in a cabinet, otherwise she always sniffs it out and brings it to me at night (carried by the keychain part) when i'm in bed, wanting to play.

lasers are a guaranteed way to get your cat running around. just buy it if you're looking for a toy that will get them to really exercise.

My two cats just go nuts over this new toy. They can hear when I grab it off a shelf or just the smallest shift of it my hand and they just go crazy. It almost makes me worry though that they're too addicted to it. My two year old will meow for hours from withdrawl from this toy. It does make her happy though and that's what counts for me.

Our two- 4 month old kitties love this. It's a great way to wear them out. Just don't shine in their eyes (or yours).
I don't know what the battery life is like as we just got one at the local pet store.

First let me say my cat loves laser toys including this one. This is a plastic toy that is made in China, but it works well. When the button on top is pressed a strong and bright laser beam comes out of the front. The head glows red and the clear plastic whiskers light up.

The mouse colors are evidently selected randomly, I received a bright green one. You can check out my photo under customer images on the product page.

This would be a great toy if it did not cost so much with the shipping from this vender.
It should be worth a thumbs up on this review, to be directed to a Amazon vender that sells this same product for less than half the price with no shipping charge.

Cats love! Both of my cats really love their laser mouse:) They would spend hours playing with it every day. Great toy!

It was a gift for a cat lover. The cat and the owner loved it.

The shipping was over twice the price of the item. It would have worked if the batteries that arrived with it had been good. Needless to say, I had to purchase new batteries.

After I bought this, I found the same thing at Wal-Mart. Good batteries and no shipping charge. Wish I would have seen it at Walmart first.

I thought this was neat but it did not seem to interest my cats more than momentarily.

This mouse just got here which was very fast thanks to my 2 day amazon prime shipping account. I was happy to see that one set of batteries are already included. My cat loves this toy!! I was a little confused about what I would be getting but its basically a laser pointer that looks like a mouse instead of a round, long traditional pointer. It has a very strong, bright red beam and it keeps the cat entertained for hours. I was very happy with the purchase however I did pay about $10 for it. Latter, I happened to be on the website for another order of something else for my cat and I saw the same toy for only a $1, however I did not inquire about the shipping and do not know if it adverages out to be the same after shipping cost. Great product overall! Shop around for best price, if money for cat toys is a concern.

I bought this one after reading some of the other reviews. This works much better than the more expensive one I bought @ Petco. Not only is it brighter, but the battery life is top notch.
