I love this little lamp. It matches the Zanzibar theme well, and isn't too pricey. It comes packed well to protect the little animals at the bottom and the shade is also well protected. I don't care for the white cord which really stands out when you go with a neutral cream & sage colored nursery to match the theme. It will accept up to a 60 watt bulb (I'd prefer 75). But all in all, it's a must have for a complete Zanzibar nursery :)

This lamp is soooo cute! THe base is a good weight. Not to heavy but not so light that it feels cheap. The shade is also a nice quality. This lamp will accept a maximum of 60 watts for a light bulb. But if you buy the better quality light bulb depending on how much light you want in your nursery you can get brighter results. The only problem I have which really isn't a problem is that the cord, yes it is white, contains the switch. I'm used to turning on the light from the lamp itself but you have to leave part of the cord out so you can reach the switch to turn it on or off. All in all it takes up no space at all. My husband actually loves it and it's a great neutral item! It doesn't scream boy or girl at all! Burlington Coat Factory has this lamp for the same price so you can go pick it up from the store like I did!

I have a younger brother that just loves this lamp. Whenever my mom turns it on he just stares at the animals and it puts him right to sleep. If you have younger kids that like animals this is the perfect fit.

I ordered this lamp to go with the other Zanzibar themed items in my baby's room. I got everything else at Baby's R Us, but they never had the lamp in stock. It shipped very quickly, Baby SuperMall followed up on my order diligently - I will definitely order from them again!

My only problem with the lamp is the shade - the base is gorgeous and matches everything perfectly. The shade is a little faded and "manufactured" looking in comparison. I'm probably going to buy a solid colored shade to replace it.

We decorated my 3 year old son's room in a safari theme and this lamp completed the look perfectly.

It's nicely weighted, is actually quite adorable and best of all, he loves it. He did try to take the animals off so he could play with them but is fine now. (haha) I would agree with the other reviewer that the switch on the cord could be a pain. For us, it's no problem as it's the main light source in his room so it's linked to the light switch. It was a great purchase.

so i called the company and they sent out a replacement. it took 6 weeks for the next lamp to be sent. But the lamp is so cute, So im pleased.

and adds a nice decor to the room......doesn't take up to much room on the dresser and works great....pretty durable as well considering being knocked off a couple of times

This arrived in great condition, it was well-packaged and even came with an energy efficient light bulb. It has a very nice rocker switch on the cord. It looks great in my newborn sons room and provides enough light to see without blinding anyone during the wee hour diaper changes.

This is a wonderful lamp that we use nearly every day. Perfect for the nursery, just the right amount of light, good cord length and convenient on/off switch. The price is right too. I was shopping around for a seperate matching lamp and shade and I couldn't find any of this quality and design that were any cheaper then this all in one lamp.

Kidsline Zanzibar Lamp Base & ShadeThis lamp is too cute! It was alot cuter in person when it arrived. The service was great and the product was in excellant condition. I am very pleased with this product and would buy future items from the Zanzibar collection. I highly recommend it!!
