Very impressive stuff! Am very happy with it, October 28, 2007
This review is from: Zap Professional Restorer - 1 Gallon Jug
I recently moved to a new place that, while great-looking in all other respects, had an appallingly dingy-looking tub. It looked so bad and so defied my attempts to scrub it white with other products, I was afraid I'd have to hire a professional restorer (but the cost and thought of dealing with a time-consuming, two-visit, toxic-sounding process put me off).
Then I bought and tried Zap! and tried it for the first time today. It worked GREAT. I poured some out, did an initial light scrubbing with a two-sided sponge, then poured more down the sides of the tub, and let it sit for a half-hour on the sides and bottom of the tub. At the end of the half hour, I was able to literally wipe away the gray dinginess and white soap scum with a regular paper towel! -- I was so amazed, my jaw dropped. There's truly a night and day difference in how the tub looked before and after.
An added advantage to the stuff: though it works like gangbusters, it seems gentle in other ways, compared to other heavy-duty cleaners. The smell is surprisingly mild and non-irritating (actually, I thought it smelled similar to Pepto-Bismol!). As a further sign of its gentleness: I started out wearing gloves while using it, but when I finished up the wipe-down with a damp paper towel, I went ahead and left off the gloves; that's how mild the product seems to be to skin.
I'd definitely buy Zap! cleaner/restorer again if I needed it.
(p.s. I bought this product in a smaller size, but apart from that, I assume it's the same as the gallon jug pictured here)

Great Product, November 9, 2006
This review is from: Zap Professional Restorer - 1 Gallon Jug
I have hard water, and over time, my bathtub and toilet had stains that couldn't be removed with any amount of elbow grease. I tried various cleaners (CLR, Lime-Away among others) which did not handle the stains.
One application of Zap, and my toilet and bathtub are now WHITE (with no scrubbing). Finally a product that actually lives up to its advertising.

It's Zap or Nothing!, August 16, 2009
This review is from: Zap Professional Restorer - 1 Gallon Jug
Since I'd rather read than clean house and since I have two potbellied pigs as housepets, the grout between my kitchen stone tiles got way ahead of me. I tried several other cleaners with poor results. Believe it or not, this stuff sat in my cupboard for two years before I abandoned negative thinking and decided to give it a try. Wow! My husband and I could not believe the results. Yes, I had to use it full strength, and yes, I had to let it sit for ten minutes but the outcome was worth it. What emerged was clean, like new grout. Now, since I am not a piggy for punishment, I plan to seal the grout and hopefully not have to deal with this mess again.
