Rock-A-Bye CHOU CHOU Doll

My Daughter is 3 and for her birthday we decided to get this doll. What a great toy. Although it talks, it is not loud. It cries, coos, pretends to suck on a bottle and pacifier, yawns breathes like it is sleeping and closes its eyes when it goes to sleep. We have another daughter that is 5 months and now all our 3 year old does is play mommy. The baby even had to go to day care because baby's can not stay home by themselves! She buckles it in, in the car and everything. The kids at the day care and the adults loved it so much they got one. I think this doll is not only cute but a good doll for older siblings to understand a new baby in the house. I can not say enough good about it. It is definitely a keeper!

My 2 1/2 year old daughter had two presents under the tree, as far as she was concerned! The rest went by the wayside. For over an hour, she played with this wonderful doll and her Special Edition Townhouse by Fisher Price, before she even LOOKED at the rest of the toys. This doll is absolutely amazing! Sarah saw it for the first time and said, "wow, a Baby Born!" She's already learned how to rock the baby to sleep and to stop it from crying. The quality of the the doll is what I was impressed with. It has a good weight to it, without being overly heavy for my daughter. And on a cuteness scale, it is a 10+++! My older kids laugh when they catch me playing with it and say, " Mom, it's not a real baby, it's a doll." I have spent money on 'interactive dolls' before and I have been VERY dissappointed, but this one I feel was well worth the money. I've even seen on sale (...) at certain stores, and that definitely is a good price! I see this doll lasting for a long time!

I bought this doll for my 3 1/2 year old daughter. She fell in love with it immediately, as did my 2 year old son. It makes very realistic baby sounds and acts a lot like a real baby. If the doll is not played with for a little while it goes into "power save" mode so that the batteries don't drain unnecessarily.

It's also very handy that the doll wears newborn baby clothes. You can buy them really cheaply second-hand and your child will have lots of fun dressing and undressing her.

I would recommend this doll for any little girl and particularly for any child who is about to experience the arrival of a sibling. This doll would prepare them for the presence of a newborn baby in the house.

After searching for the "perfect" baby doll for my daughter, I came across this doll on TV. It was exactly what I was looking for to give for Christams this year. I bought this doll and the bouncy seat. Both are exceptional quality. If you read anything about this doll in magazines or the web, she was a top 10 in the Duracell Toy Awards this year and is being placed on the list as a top toy for the blind and visually impaired. The doll makes such realistic noises and it's very soft. The other plus is the doll can wear newborn size clothing. I can't wait until my daughter sees her on Christmas morning. I know she'll love her. Great doll!

My mother-in-law bought this doll for my daughter and two of her girl cousins almost two years ago. They have been loved every day of the year. They are very durable and easy to clean except for the cloth body. If they go around naked for very much, the body gets soiled and is hard to clean. My daughter is a neat-nik so her baby is never without clothes and she is still fairly clean. These dolls wear real baby clothes so they are cheap and easy to find at a local thrift store or yard sale.

I purchased this doll last month for my daughter as a
Christmas gift. All of my children's gift's are tightly
locked in the spare room, but at least once a week I
get her out myself when the children are sleeping and
"play" with her. My daughter is a four year old who
loves babies and is very caring, I have bought her dolls
in the past that are so hard to operate she gets very
frustrated and won't play with them, this year she won't
be able to put chou-chou down and either will I!! She is
very easy to operate and quietly goes to sleep when youu
lay her down. When she does wake up fussy just give her
a few pats on the back and she settles quite quickly.
Zapf has certainly done it again.

I bought both of these dolls, I unboxed both of them last night and compared them, I like Annabell because her mouth moves when she sucks her bottle or pacifier. She makes cute baby noises. Her sucking and breathing while she is asleep is a little loud but it really is cute. And it is just too much when she burps, my husband & I both laughed. It is amazing how cool toys are these days. I brought Annabell into the living room where my husband was and he thought our baby had woke up because she was crying. She really is a cute toy. I purchased her for my daughter for Christmas. I can't wait to give her Annabell.

I also like Annabell's arms & legs better than Chou Chous's, I like that she can wear short sleeves & shorts.

There is one thing about Chou Chou that I like better, her tummy, it felt more real.

I have decided to keep Annabell and return Chou Chou. I got Annabell for about $4 more, I think she is worth the extra money.

My 2 1/2 year-old daughter usually has a ten-minute time limit with new toys. Dolls especially. After she rips their clothes off and takes out any batteries or accessories, the doll usually ends up in the toybox. This doll, however, is still going strong after one week. She is really interested in the doll. When she wakes up in the morning, she goes right to her doll. She treats it like it is a real child. My husband and I even play with it. The sounds are very realistic. The only thing I notice is that it takes quite a hard pat on the back to get it to stop crying. Other than that, the doll is really amazing. I am so happy I bought it for her. I can't wait to buy the diaper bag and changing table for Christmas!

We bought this Rock A Bye baby for our daughters 4th Birthday, after receiving a Zapf Chou Chou for X-mas last year. We all loved that baby and knew this baby would be just as fun! They truly are the best made baby dolls we've ever bought (we have over 30...). We also bought the Baby Born for Santa to leave... The clothes and accesories are also very well made, we use our daughters old new born clothes which makes it real exciting for her to share with her Baby. This doll is not annoying at all, several friends are now looking for these babys after seeing and playing with ours. The baby carrier really makes it fun to take the baby everywhere it also locks into the car seat belt next to our daughter. We have bought other "real life" type dolls and this one is deffinately the easiest to grow attatched to! Soft, cute and cuddly!
All the Zapf dolls we have can share the accesories and clothes which makes it real nice not having to find things to fit. And buy real new born diapers (with velcro) she'll have fun!

My 7 year old daughter got this doll for X-mas....and I couldn't put it down! It feels like a real baby, the weight and texture is right on. The clothes are REAL baby clothes, just wait and see! You will love this doll as much as my daughter does. I think it is the best of the Zapf dolls.
