ok i just got this game a few weeks ago but it didnt take long for me to figure out this game stinks. All you do is walk around
and kick enemes or whack them. The game has nothing to do with the movie after the robot chase.Overall this game is to basic. Dont even rent it.

The film is a young childrens film (it stars two pre teen boys) but this game is so hard you'd have to be a teenager to complete it.
The game is 7+ but the later levels of this game are really difficult to complete. The theme doesn't really make it suitable as a teenager or adults game but the gameplay is too difficult for young children. It starts off well and accurately follows the film story. To begin with there are some easier levels, collecting items, great recognisable characters and footage from the film but it then drifts into being a robot fighting, battle game which is nothing like the film. It would have been much, much better if it had followed the plot of the film the whole way through. The later platform levels dodging lasers etc are near impossible and will leave you very frustrated as you try again for the 75th time to beat some odd ledge spacing or graphics which don't line up with where you are jumping from. To beat the end robot ... well in the end I worked out to push him through the glass but it was virually impossible to work out what to do. The children lost interest very early on after the action stared being nothing like the film and the game became near impossible to progress. It's one of those games you finish because you 'have' to, with much perserverance and shouting at the screen as you die again... and again. It's good if you want a challenge but not much fun for the 7+ children who will get stuck, cry, argue and try to get an adult to help every 2 mins. If you want a stress inducing, annoying game buy this. If you want some fun watch the DVD 'Zathura' instead.

This game is not fun at all. Don't waste your money buying it!
It is a bad story and the brothers are very mean to each other. The controls are difficult and hard to get used to. I am very disappointed because it was so bad. |
