5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice
So far I am very pleased with this keyboard. The first time I saw an advertisement for it I just thought it was another gimmic for the PC market. I was pretty much prepared to laugh at it when I went up to Ideazon's booth at E3. I figured it would feel really loose and cheap but it doesn't at all. It feels like a perfectly normal keyboard. Whenever I got back from the...

1.0 out of 5 stars Caused MAJOR system instability - even with latest drivers
I was so in love with the idea of this keyboard! Use one keyset for photoshop, use another for games- I loved it... until I actually installed the keyboard that is.

I was so in love with the idea of this keyboard! Use one keyset for photoshop, use another for games- I loved it... until I actually installed the keyboard that is.
As soon as it was installed, I ran into strange things happening every once in awhile- in the middle of a game I'd be interrupted by a BUNCH (20-30) webbrowsers opening up for no apparent reason. Not pop-up ads mind you, just to my homepage! I noticed that everytime I had this happen, if I unsnapped the keyboard keyset, it would stop. If I unplugged the keyboard, it would stop. The keyboard would start opening web-browsers, and keep doing it until I either unplugged it, or removed the keyset!!! TALK ABOUT ANNOYING!! I downloaded all the latest drivers, but it didn't stop. So 2 months later, I finally told myself I would get around to buying a new keyboard.

Then, to top it all off, I tried to start my computer today, and it would keep getting to the "windows XP Pro loading" screen and crash. I knew the rest of my system was solid, so I ditched the keyboard and reinstalled my old, beat to heck MS Office keyboard. System starts like a charm now.

I am here today, to buy a new keyboard- to replace my 2 month old Ideazon ZBoard. I look forward to taking the zboard out to the target range and blowing it to tiny bits with the M1 Garand.

This was an awesome idea, just poorly executed unfortunately.

I was pretty much prepared to laugh at it when I went up to Ideazon's booth at E3. I figured it would feel really loose and cheap but it doesn't at all. It feels like a perfectly normal keyboard. Whenever I got back from the show, the Z-board was the first thing I ordered.

Right now I only have the internet explorer interface and it is really nice. All of the hot keys are great and the secondary functions on the number pad are very useful. One of the biggest reasons I purchased this keyboard, besides the great quality, was that there are Photoshop and 3DS Max interfaces.

You should go for something like this over a Microsoft keyboard anyday.

I have 3 computers in my house - Dell notebook, Alienware Desktop, and a home built system for the kids. I could not get the Zboard to work on any of them, and I bought mine from the manufacturer (ideazon)

This one is a winner! After all the gimmicky "tools" I've purchased to make life easier, finally one that really works! The IE interface works like a charm, and the Photoshop keypad has enabled me to spend more time creating and less time clicking. The split space seems odd at first, but you get used to it after a couple of days. I could not be happier with this purchase--I hope they create a Rollercoaster Tycoon keypad soon! Again, great if you use your computer incessantly and want to speed things up with shortcuts.
