He loves it-slept with it. It gets him outside and away from the game box. Great times with brother, father and grandad.

I got these poles for my 3 and 5 year olds for our camping trip. All they wanted to do was "fish" the whole time! They held up very well, since my kids like to fish in the dirt as well. You can just keep the weight on for the little ones, then upgrade to a real hook when they're ready. By far, my kids favroite toy! The don't get tangled like big kid rods. Very easy to use. Highly recommended!

my son loves this fishing pole i wish i would have purchased it earlier in the year because now it is getting past the time when he can use it but it will be great for next summer. perfect purchase for a toddler boy who loves being outside with his daddy.

I got this for my 5 year old for his birthday. He LOVED it! This was his first fishing pole and his first time fishing. We took him to a trout farm just to make sure he caught something. The pole is ok, perhaps for smaller fish, but the large trout at this farm were almost too much for it. They would have been caught and reeled in easier on a regular pole. But, he loves it so........ It doesn't come with hooks or sinkers. We also bought other floaters for it.
