I got this rod as a light action compliment to my Zebco 808 and it is a really great rod & reel package. Very quiet & smooth operation and great casting on the reel. The rod is sensitive and easily picks up those small hits from the smaller fish families. You just can't go wrong with this Zebco package.

This is the best Zebco I have ever owned. The five bearings make it super smooth and quiet and the drag is very effective. I can cast 30% futher with this than my other non bearing Zebcos. It is such a pleasure to land fish and not even be aware that the reel is turning due to it's smooth and quiet performance, the rod is well matched. Zebco always has backed up their products.
