I DO A LOT OF CAT FISHING AND FISHING FOR GAR AND SO FAR THIS REEL IS HOLDING UP. I DID CHANGE THE LINE TO 80LB POWER PRO AND 18" STEEL LEADER . ( THE FISH I HAVE BEEN GETTING WOULD BRAKE THE FACTORY INSTALLED 25LB ) THE REEL STILL CAST GOOD! WOULD RECOMMEND THIS REEL FOR ANYONE WHO FISH FOR LARGE FRESH WATER FISH AND DOESN'T NEED THE FINESSE OF A PRO ANGLER.
