not so good fishing gear,

I purchased this spincast combo for my husband to use for a couple of times. The second time he used it, the line failed to reel in and he lost fish. It worked at times, other times it would not reel in. I would not purchase one of these combos again.

I havent had any problems with this item. its great for bass, perch, and stuff like that. just have more weight on your line to cast out further and it works just fine. I used it today and caught 3 largemouth bass, 1 small mouth bass, 5 perch, and many brim and had not one problem reeling it in

I purchased this item for my boyfriend. The second time he used the Zebco reel, the reel broke. Pieces came completely off. Was unsalvagable. We had an older Zebco 404 reel we put on the rod. The very next time he used it, the end of the rod broke. This was a complete waste of time and money. He's been fishing for 30 years and never had a problem like this.
