Zebra's Orbitz Gel Retractable Pen 0.7mm Black Dozen (41010)

I ordered two boxes of Orbitz Gel retractable pens (0.7mm)- 12 were blue ink and 12 were black ink.
I previously had purchased these pens one at a time at Office Max.
All previous Office Max purchases were fine, but the pens I received from Amazon were not.
NONE of the black pens worked well at all. All of them skipped or faded out when writing. Completely unusable.
The blue pens were slightly better - they only had about 50% that were bad.
Very disappointing.
It appeared to me that these were all very old stock that had been sitting so long, the ink or roller balls dried out.

My Husband LOVES these pens! I purchased a dozen on June 6- it's June 18th and he needs more. They are all out of ink. Wow- that's one expensive set of pens. They write very nicely but not for long. Sure do wish they would last longer.

Worst pens I've ever used. When they will write they are fine but that seems to be about 50% of the time. Sometimes they won't write straight out of the box other times they will write for a week or two and then quit. The pilot G2 seems far superior. I've got to figure out who is ordering the office supplies. Pretty sure it isn't someone who uses the pens.

Marimon sells these for a lot more . . . I now have a new provider! and with the Prime Shipping I get a great product cheaper and faster . . . which leads to more productivity!

thick gel ink, but i placed it in my shirt pocket and found myself dirty with ink. tried another pan, happened the same thing.

I purchased three dozen of these Zebra Orbitz gel pens because they are an excellent value and a personal favorite. The click top gel pens write smoothly. The ink is dark black and flows evenly. It reproduces well in photocopies. The barrel of the pen also has a comfortable grip.

My friends also like Zebra Orbitz pens and begged me to buy them some pens, too!

I used to purchase them from Walmart, which I believe no longer carries them. I looked all over for them at various stores without success. (Note: The old packages of Zebra Orbitz gel pens included 3-6 refill cartridges. Unfortunately, this eco-friendly alternative is no longer available. My suggestion to the manufacturers would be to market refills.)

I bought them here because of the low price and free Amazon shipping with a purchase of more than $25.

Because I live in Hawaii, many shippers will often charge more. Some online shippers won't even ship to Hawaii. The perception is that thet 50th state is just too far away. Thus, shipping is a big consideration, and the Amazon free shipping is especially appreciated by us. The items arrived quickly, and were packaged nicely.

I plan to purchase more from this store in the future. I am definitely a happy customer.

I am a huge fan of Zebra pens and so when I saw these at Walmart, I immediately decided to pick them up. I'm glad I did. They make a nice, medium-sized line and the ink is very dark black. While they are toted as "ultra-fast" drying, you can still smear the ink if you run your hands over it just after writing. It needs a few seconds to set.

The size of the pen works very well. I hate the huge, barrel-shaped pens or the extremely thin ones and they make my hand cramp quicker. I have not had this problem with the Orbitz. The retractable tip is also very handy. Unlike other retractable tip gel inks I've had, this one does not seem to clog and cause jumpy lines. A big plus! The cushioned grip, however, isn't very comfortable. It's better than nothing, but it's also nothing special.

The odd thing is that when I bought these at Walmart (they're better priced here, by the way, since I paid $6 for half a dozen at Walmart) they came with 2 refills. However, these pens are non-refillable.
