Instructions, insightful commentary, and examples are included.

Editorial Reviews

About the Author

"I created ZEBU to help me teach my classes in Ericksonian Hypnosis. The level of proficiency that my students developed was nothing short of phenomenal, and it's all due to this card game . . . Playing ZEBU we've laughed so hard it hurt, and at other times we've used the ZEBU cards to actually hypnotize members of the class. Enjoy!" -- Robert Anue

5.0 out of 5 stars Remeber when learning was fun!?, October 18, 2001
By
Aaron Antcliff (Palm Harbor, Florida United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Zebu: The Hypnotic Language Card Game (Paperback)
I do, and when I first became involved in NLP, I soaked up tons of books on Erickson and hypnosis, but failed to find a tool that would let me explore the tools and patterns in anything other than an academic format. I then got these cards from a noted trainer of NLP before I was able to afford a full training and it provided me with a fun and easy introduction into the uses of language patterns. These cards are far from comprehensive, but will give you good building blocks when you play with them on a regular basis. My recommendation: play rummy! Enjoy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun stuff for the NLP obsessed, August 24, 2001
This review is from: Zebu: The Hypnotic Language Card Game (Paperback)
If you are like me after discovering the concepts of NLP you got obsessed. I devour all of the knowledge on the subject i can, but this is a fun new way to "play" with NLP.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and Effective Way to Learn Hypnotic Language, October 31, 2004
This review is from: Zebu: The Hypnotic Language Card Game (Paperback)
This is a set of 52 playing cards, each one containing one hypnotic language pattern and an example of how you may use it.

Words which constitute embedded commands are marked with italic letters on the cards.

The cards come with all instructions you need to begin practice using hypnotic language patterns. You can carry them with you and use them as "flash cards" to help you memorize the patterns, or even better play games with your friends, where each person in turn has a chance to come up with some fun ideas.

Here are examples from three Zebu cards:

Eventually ...

Eventually everything comes to pass. Eventually what I want to direct your attention to will probably come to pass as well. Eventually you will develop a deep understanding of these difficult events in your life, and you will find some hidden value in them. Eventually, indirect language patterns will become second nature to you. Imagine that.

* * *

I don't know if _____.

I don't know if you're going to like this game better than any other learning game you've ever played. I don't know what things in particular you will enjoy the most. I really don't know if this experience is going go change your life. Don't ask me, I don't know.

* * *

Maybe you haven't ..., yet.

Maybe you haven't, maybe you have, who knows, I'm just making an observation, but when that yet comes along, there's a strong implication that sooner or later you're going to! Maybe you haven't decided to buy copies of Zebu for all of your friends ... yet. Who knows? There's still time ... It's just an observation.
