5.0 out of 5 stars Gotta love it
I have Zed issues 1 through 4 but I had to have them all again in one entire book cause Zed is just that good. Funny, endearing and has heart. If you have all of them or even if you dont you should get a copy of volume one, your love it. Now I just cant wait for volume two.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't believe the Hype!
Meh....Not sure what all the hype is about with this book. Simplistic story and bland artwork. I'd say the artist was trying to appeal to children with his cartoonish style, but then every few pages you get this over the top gross scene of someone getting torn into bits with gore guts and blood. (it's all black gray and white). This is part one but I've really no interest...

4.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly dark story with beautiful artwork, December 12, 2004

This review is from: Zed: Volume One (Paperback)
I guess I'm writing this review mostly in the hopes that Mr. Gagne will read it and put out another volume because he has started something really fascinating with Zed and I want to see where it will go. This is the kind of story that draws you in with its style, grabs you with its sudden trauma and holds you with concern for its characters. Its combination of cuteness with horror make it almost haunting. I guess the only reason why I don't give it a fifth star is that it's left its audience dangling from its cliffhanger for so long. Please, please finish the story!

Therer are too many great Graphic Novels out there, both mainstream Marvel and DC fare, plus indie stuff that is worth your time. this one isn't.
