Did not fit into the handle bar on my recently purchased bike. It should have listed the minimum inside diameter of the handle bars it would accommodate.

This is the best bike mirror I have ever used. Much better than glueing a mirror to your helmet.
It is fully adjustable once installed with no apparent
blind spots.
Installation is relatively simple but in my case the handlebar opening was too narrow and I had to sand the pieces down to make them fit. It just took a little time and a little patience but, it can be done and the mirror is well worth the effort.

I purchased two of these mirrors. The support made up of axle and screw to hold mirror in place doesn't tighten enough to work. The mirror just flops so I went to a local hardware store and bought what I needed to tighten the mirror so it is functional. Now I finally can use it! Very poor design in that area. I certainly would not recommend it to anyone else.

I've been using this mirror for about a month now on my road bike. I like the size and shape of the mirror and that goes in the bar end, but I keep having to adjust the mirror's position. If I go over pavement that's too rough it gets jarred out of position. On my five mile trip to work I usually end up realigning while I ride on average 4 times. It does work, though, if you don't mind fussing with it every few miles. When I tried to tighten the bolt holding the joint further, it stripped the plastic housing that was supposed to be keeping the nut in place.

I bought one of these for my trail bike. Assembly was a snap. The only thing I can see being a problem is with handlebar grips without a hole on the end. This mirror mounts directly to the tube portion of the handlebars. It works well. I wish it would hold its position permanently but the mirror is free to move after installation. I haven't had any problems with it moving while riding except for the occasional accidental hand nudge. If you want to see who is coming up behind you, I recommend this mirror.

Great little Mirror easy to install directly into the handle bar. You will need to prep the interface parts of the attachment bracket in order to provide enough friction to keep the mirror in place while riding. Preping means you will have to sand or Lightly Rough-up the plastic interface surfaces with 120 sand paper before assembly (a two minuet job).

The only reason I could not give this product Four stars was that it needed some modification to work properly,,but otherwise it works great.

I agree with others that the linkages at a bit too loose. Installing it as is, I had to adjust it about 5 times on my 9 mile trek into work. I put a thin rubber O-ring under the screw to increase the pressure on universal joint and that worked satisfactorily. A small washer would also work just fine, but I wanted something compressible. You don't want it to be too rigid either. It needs to be able to move if you bump it. I can get to work and back now without having to touch it. Ideally, you ought to be able to install it as is. I like the oblong shape of this mirror. The elongated bottom give a wide view of the road behind you and provides a nice perspective.

Installation was simple. Does'nt vibrate or shake when riding so approaching traffic is clear. Works as advertised and would recommend to others.

Installation on my Gary Fisher Zebrano took all of 5 minutes. The mirror is solid, doesn't vibrate on some of the worst urban roads you could ever possibly ride on (Windsor, Ontario) and provides a large and clear view of cars approaching from behind. I adjust it once and never adjust it again during the ride unless I inadvertantly knock it out of position. Collpases nicely when storing the bike too. I HIGHLY recommend this mirror for safety, functionality, ease of use and aesthetics...

I had an old mirror that mounted on the end of a flexible "stick" and could be bent into virtually any position and was really useful as a rear view mirror (I could see approaching vehicles). The old mirror finally broke after about 15 years of use, so it was time to replace.

I found this one and ordered it. First thing I noticed is installation is not very smooth due to the way it mounts inside the handlebar and requires cutting a hole in your grip end. Once installed it is really difficult to get the mirror aimed in a way that you can see approaching vehicles. And even if you are lucky enough to get it aimed, it seems to easily be jarred from it's aim and you are back to having a pretty looking, but useless object hanging off your handlebar. Oh, and it you remove it, now you have a hole in your grip!

I really can't recommend this item.
