Love these!!! Shorter profile makes these the best I've come across! Street shoes or bike shoes! love em! NOTE! I'm female with sz 8 shoe - I needed the Lg/XLg for myself.

Good for mountain-biking,

These are good for what they are made for, which is mountain-biking, or just casual biking. You can't pull up, but your feet stay on the pedals through the bumps. I've had mine for at least 5 years, still like them.

Zefal "Cristophe" Mountain Bicycle Half Toe Clips Couldn't decide between these or the delta's so I bought both. I find that I'm kind of partial to these tho the delta's are very good as well. These seem a bit more comfortable with sandals. No replacement for the security of clips with strap's but for casual riding and a quick release on the streets these are terrific for keeping your feet on the pedals.

It seems like a good product and if you are an experienced rider you do not need any additional information to make a decision.
However, if you are a new bicyclist you should know 1. This goes on the pedals with screws provided with the toe clips. But your pedal should have holes for these screws. Sometimes these holes are covered by a reflector. Please check before buying, or you will need to change the pedal as well .... an additional expense. 2. The toe clips are not suggested to be used by childern and kids due to risk of injury. 3. These things come in sizes to adjust shoe sizes. You should be fine with a medium for most part, but if you have very big or small shoe size or toe shape, you might want to pay attention to the Toe clip size.

I bought these after trying out the longer thinner style toe clips with the adjustabe band. I also bought the delta half toe clips along with these to test them out, and these are better. If your looking for something that will keep your foot in position and doesn't give under hard pressure, this is a best bet before clipless. The fastener interface is bulky whick prevents the washers and screw heads from tearing through the bores, a problem i had seen with most other styles. The mold itslef is also very stiff which i like when pedalling hard on rocky climbs. The Zefals took a few rock hits and didnt crack either.

Really good toe clip for the price. Inexpensive,it arrived on time and is a good product. I actually used these for my older style road bike and they work great!! They run a little smaller,im happy i got X/L it says that X/L is for size 12 up but my size 10 just fits perfectly. Great buy though!!

The Zefal Bicycle Half Toe Clip is the best for the non-expert/city biker. These clips are short enough and stiff enough to get an ordinary sneaker in; easy to slip out of at the stop lights; and allow a nice pulling action. I've tried several different 1/2 and full toe clips - these are the best.

great with correct shoe,

If you have the Izumi Pear Vagabond shoes, this clip is made for you. The shoes have a ridge on the toe with a depression on each side of it that fit perfectly into the clip. Much easier to get into than straps, but lock the shoe in laterally, while giving some backward resistance. Not for racers, but great for us avid amatuers.

These are what they say they are. I wear a women's size 8 - 8.5 shoe, and the s/m size fits perfectly. Snug on an athletic shoe, but not too tight. You barely have to think about slipping your foot in or out, so it's perfect for biking in the city. But, you can still get the extra oomph from pulling up on the pedals not just pushing down. Hopefully they will last a few years, but at under $10 bucks I would just order a new pair if they didn't.

Before adding these to my pedals, my feet were slipping on the pedals, especially if my shoes were wet. I did not want clipless shoes/pedals, so this is a good compromise. You can easily slide your foot back away from these toe clips when you need to take your foot away from the pedal. I've never had my shoe get caught on them. I would recommend these to anyone who just needs to hold their foot to the pedal without a clipless system.
