How can a manufacture ship a foggy filter? Simple, they don't care. The packaging is very colorful, and it says clearly "multicoated". I've seen many multicoated lenses and filters, and this is very clearly not coated at all. Reflections are as intense as from any other uncoated polarizer. This foggy effect seems to come from bad lamination. Polarizers are multilayered filters, not coated, laminated. If the lamination is bad, thousands of microscopic bubbles can make it look foggy. Don't fall for false advertising! If you look at Zeikos website, they offer many totally unrelated products. They seem to just buy the cheapest, put it in a nice packaging, and sell it if needed with false tech specs.
