The Zeikos 3 Piece Filter Kit includes a Ultra Violet (UV), Circular Polarizer (CPL), a Fluorescent (FLD) Filter, and a small protective "pleather" carrying case.

The filters are fairly good quality and do not effect the normal performance of my Canon VIXIA HV40 HD HDV Camcorder with 10x Optical Zoom. I keep the UV Filter installed on the camera to protect the lens at all times. Since the filters are threaded, you can "stack" multiple filters onto your camera.

This is a good set at a reasonable price. Recommended!

I have to confirm what the Jan. 2010 poster said. These are the cleanest filters I too have ever bought. The company Zeikos I believe is in Japan but the filters are the expected Made in China product as even the largest name brands are now days. I went with these because Multi-Coated is critical in any filter and even more so for the HD cameras that show so much detail including glass imperfections, refractions, distortions, glare and such. If you spend $500-$1000 for a camera don't settle for anything short of Multi-Coated on your filters. The polarizer filter is the typical "rotating ring" style. If you use a wide angle lens hood/shade on your camcorder you won't be able to use that attached to the polarizer because as you rotate the ring to optimize the reduction of glare you change the position of the hood/shade where it may show in the scene. No big deal as you only use the Polarizer in limited circumstances and normally leave the UV filter on all the time. The stackable feature allowing you to leave the UV on all the time and add the polarizer or fluorescent filter when needed is a plus as well as for attaching my lens hood. Today's cameras have exceptional White Balance control and software built in for compensating for any kind of lighting sources, e.g. incandescent, fluorescent, daylight, mercury vapor, etc. so you may not need the FLD filter. But at the price this combo goes for its really a bargain not to be passed up. There are other MC filters that are higher quality than these, thus the 4 Stars, but for the money, I'm happy with the product.

This is a good, inexpensive set of filters which will make you feel good about protecting your expensive camera lens.

I purchased the set for my Canon HV20 video camera, and the filters fit perfectly. The filters come from the manufacturer very clean, and in a somewhat hard case that is convenient for carrying in a camera bag. I was surprised to see that the filters didn't even have a spec of dust on them, having been individually sealed in cellophane. They were much cleaner than some Tiffen filters I purchased a couple weeks ago for a different camera.

I'm now in the market for a lens cap. I never felt I needed to use one before because of the built-in lens cover on the camera, but now the filter in use is exposed all the time, so I need a cap to protect the filter (I really should have thought of that before). If you buy this filter kit, you might as well buy a cap while you're at it, unless you already have one.

I received the 3 43mm filters wrapped in wrinkled up plastic. Upon closer inspection, the lens had scratches as well as water stains. I don't care how good or bad the filters are. Selling used or returned item as new is just not ethical.

I'm shooting quite a bit of outside video, and the polarizer is helping to cut down the glare. The polarizer has2 parts to it, the threaded part that screws into the filter location, and the outside part that you can freely rotate, to optimize the polarizer. Don't screw it in too far (like I did), because all you'll have is the freely rotating ring to try and remove the filter from the camera.

I ordered the 43mm Zeikos filter kit from PlusDigUSA. The ordering process was easy and I received my shipment ahead of time. After getting the product, I realized that I ordered the wrong size. I emailed the company and asked how to return for a replacement. They were quick to respond and the next day, I shipped the product back. That's when the problem started. I emailed them on June 4th, June 16th, June 22nd and June 23rd trying to find out if they had shipped my replacement or any sort of status update. I finally recieved an email on them on the 23rd when I said that if they did not reply, that they would refund my purchase and I would give them negative feedback since I needed the replacement for an upcoming trip. The next day I got a response saying that my replacement was going to be shipped the next day. Today is July 1 and I got the package in the mail... just in the knick of time. Product good, seller OK if you don't need anything after the sale.

For the price paid these are pretty nice lenses. They screwed onto my Canon M41 smoothly. I have been using the "UV" lens continuously just to protect the camera. I can't imagine needing the FLD lens, but I'm sure the polarizing lens will come in handy come summer time when I'm outdoors more often.

These filter fit my Canon Vixia HF M41 perfectly. I mainly ordered it just for the uv to protect what could be a possibly fragile exposed shutter. But the cpl came in extremely handy filming fish and dolphins under the surface of the water in Cozumel. Can't beat the price.

Pros: Way less $$$ than true Canon filters and are of reasonable quality for the cost. They are triple coated (don't buy filters that are not).

Cons: The CPL has a swivel surface. (this is standard for this type of filter, and not really a con; however they don't actually state this so...) If you are using a hood, it will spin.

The case could be better, i.e. a hard fitted plastic case. But again, they are inexpensive.

I have already tried them on my Canon HV30 camcorder and they work great. Excellent quality. And you can't beat the price. Shipping was on time. Packing was very good. I love the handy little leather case with dividers and how each lens was individually packaged and sealed with a reusable seal.
