I think anyone that looks at this product should consider another brand like Sunpak or Dynex because the build of this product is way to delicate for any kind of Photography, it is too wobbly, thin, and it feels like it's going to break in your hand's. I recommend another tripod yeah this one is cheap but you will end up buying another one when you could have bought one 20-30 dollar's more expensive but will outlive this one by a long shot.
I really do not recommend this tripod for nature Photographer's or any outdoor Photography. just maybe for indoor but even then I still would not recommend it. Richie

It DOES TOO tilt down!,

Granted; this is a cheap tripod. You get what you pay for. It does, however, do the job. I mount a full-size Canon 35mm film camera with a Canon 70-300 zoom on it. It works fine. That is about the limit of this tripod, though. And I won't walk away from a setup like that.
One reviewer said you can't point your camera down on this tripod. NOT TRUE. Just turn the camera and quick-release around on the tripod head. Voila! It now points down. It won't point UP in this configuration, but it works fine for down. If you are using a small DSLR, or a point and shoot, this tripod will work well for you, if you stay within its light construction's limitations.

Not worth it at any price,

Received this with a camera kit I bought. Extremely light construction, won't hold a digial SLR camera. Even with a small point-and-shoot digital camera, the legs are wobbly when set up, so not usable for any type of outdoor shooting (a small gust of wind would topple it).
I would reccomend paying a little more and getting a sturdier tripod.
