Don't pay attention to the ridiculous reviewer that is complaining because he dropped the camera and the filter broke. How is that the filter's fault? I own this filter, use it almost every day, and get great sharp pictures while protecting the lens from scratches. It won't, however, protect your lens from a 2 foot fall on concrete.

I'm not too happy about this filter. I'm always getting this green circle in all my photos from the filter. I changed filters and no more green circle.

Researched a lot of filters. This one wins hands down. Does the job and a great price.

AS i bought Zeikos ZE-UV62 62mm Multi-Coated UV filter , of course i read again and again all of reviews from products that i want to have . All reviews were almost honestly than i thought , even someone did not like goods they bought , they had reasons too , it was hardly argue-able ..like someone said this filter was by plastic or someone asked that : how can you know it is multi-coated .
I was really confused but i need a filter to protect my lens ( Nikon 70-300mm ). Before i bought this filter , i bought a Sigma 50-500mm during i was ready to pay at (Henry's store in Ottawa , Ontario , Canada ), Saleman asked me : Do you want UV filter in order to protect ? Of course,i want it too but i asked how much ? Saleman let me know without tax was Canadian $250 for a UV 95mm filter , i knew myself that i did not like the price , so , i did not even ask what brand name for that filter ( Maybe Hoya or Tiffen ..i was not sure , it was so expensive for a filter )even i knew my Big Sigma to deserve for a expensive filter but i did not want to spend big buck for filter only , so i looked on Amazon , i found out Zeikos 95mm very cheap was $ 35.00 ( if you compare with $250 ).
AS i received my 95mm UV filter , i was very worry but i opened i knew it will be OK because i tested few pictures with and without UV filter , and then i compared them on big LCD screen 52 inches , under my eyes , i could not discriminate between them ( I have been photographer from early 1980s in Saigon VN until now ).
From results like said above , i decided to buy 3 kits of 3 pieces of filter ( UV-CPL-FLD )for My Nikon 55_300mm , Tamrom 18-200mm , Nikon 70_300mm and one more CPL 95mm filter for my Big Sigma 50-500mm .
They were cheap , affordable . All of Zeikos filters ( except FLD ) i bought from Amazon to do very good job.
Please forgive me to write too long.

This filter does its job at a reasonable price, and it offers a degree of protection for the lens. I would buy this filter again.

The Zeikos UV filter arrived as advertised, and the price was much better than anyone else's; plus, the shipping was free.
What else could one want.

This filter will give you colored circles on your photos. Why do you think is so cheap? On the other hand, the thread is wrong cut, so it can be griped on your lens thread. DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH!

Was happy to get a cheap $4 UV filter my new lens, but not happy when trying to use it. I just about stripped out the threading on my $600 Tamron lens with this lousy filter. Spend a few more bucks and get a filter that you can actually screw on and unscrew :-)

It fits fine, does the job. However, it is not multi-coated as advertised. One just has to look at the reflections of a ceiling light- there should be greenish/ purple muted reflection. This filter is definitely not multi-coated. Therefore, you should use a lens hood and probably remove for night tie shots or back lighting.
