Worked only once,
This review is from: Zeikos ZE-WRL3 Wireless Remote for Nikon (Electronics)
I bought one and it didn't work. I even brought it to a digital camera specialist, and he said that it wasn't working. (my camera is a Nikon D70s)
I got a second one sent because the first one was defective. However, the second remote took a long time to finally take a shot. Then...never again. I'm really frustrated with this product, because it isn't responding to the transmitter.

I bought mine 4 months ago and it's working perfectly. I tried it as far as 15ft and it's still working as long as the transmitter and receiver see each other.
A friend of mine who also owns a Nikon D90 borrowed it and got too happy with it that he doesn't want to give it back to me. so I decided to buy a new one since it's only less than 6bucks. The 2nd unit still works great. Some people who commented bad for this remote might have a little of bad luck of getting a non-working one. why buy an expensive Nikon remote when you can have the functionality you're looking for in a third of it's price? This product is great for $5.49!

Right out of the box this very little remote worked as advertised. It doesn't look like the rectangular picture with yellow markings, but instead looks just like the Nikon model. Of course, I paid only a fraction of the cost of the Nikon model, so the fact it looks the same and works as I expected is reason enough to recommend this Zeikos product. I have had it only a couple of weeks, and I've used it only infrequently, but it does work at close range from both behind and in front of my Nikon P7000. The remote must be pointed fairly directly at the camera's sensors, but I don't see how this could be problematic.
One word on size and packaging. This remote is smaller than I'd expected, and that is a pleasant surprise. The remote is as thick as two nickels and the outline of it fairly well matches the size and contours of my thumb. There is a small pouch provided for storage of the remote. The unit was shipped in a small plastic clamshell retail package.
