I love this scope. At this price point the view is very bright and sharp; akin to viewing in HD but without the HD cost. Well worth the cost.

Clarity of optics is better than the other scopes I've ever owned. The scope just brings in the light during early morning and late evening. Can't wait to use it this fall for hunting.

Compared to my 3-9x42 conquest this is considerably smaller. I thought initially that that may be a bad thing but light transmission at dusk and during the day was almost equivalent between the 2. The glass is very good but I give a slight very slight edge to the conquest. I can make out details effortlessly with this scope that I struggle to make out with more powerful lesser scopes. I qualified out to 600 yards at a local range with the conquest on my first use of it and this would perform just as well I believe. That makes this a keeper, for the price this glass is almost too good. Adjustments are very stiff but the turrets move smoothly and cog with some mechanical confidence. A joy to look through.

Very clear optics, holds zero very well thus far. If it continues to preform as it has thus far, I'll be buying more Zeiss products. This is a minimalist scope, which I prefer. Sight the scope in and adjust as needed for the shot with the eye piece in one turn. For a sniper, this is a rudimentary set up, for the novice, or person that likes easy and wont be needing to make shots in excess of 500 yards, not that the trained expert couldn't with this scope, it is the perfect scope for my 300 or less yard shots. Sometimes less complicated is more in my book.

For the money, you can't beat the clarity of these Zeiss scopes. Go to a local store and compare it side-by side with a $2000 Swarovski. You won't hardly tell the difference. This is the 3rd Zeiss that I have purchased, and will buy more if I need them.
