Denny Zeitlin stands among the jazz piano greats!, May 8, 2009

Saw this group perform about a year in South Florida, and it was one of the great piano concerts I'd seen in recent memory. I wasn't very aware of Denny Zeitlin before that - checked him out a bit online and picked up another relatively recent release "Slickrock" - but I would wholeheartedly recommend this album. Zeitlin is a unique, sensitive player, and his trio, featuring longtime famed bassist Buster Williams and outstanding skinsman Matt Wilson, play with a very high degree of interaction and improvisation. Great stuff!
