I specifically purchased this item with the intent of mounting it on my wall with a plaque. I'm a moderate fan of the Zelda games; my first experience being on the ol' SNES, going through Zelda: Ocarina of Time, several of the Gameboy, GBC, and GBA games, and finally beating Twilight Princess recently.

The sword looks very much as it appears in the pictures, dark blue pommel and grip. The weapon is quite long. I reccomend pulling out a measuring tape and visually comparing the length given in the description before buying. It looks like the master-sword, and so it should. The scabbard is very nice, though there are no loops or holes to attach to your own belt.

My only complaints with the weapon are minor. The Hilt, grip, and pommel seem to be molded from PVC or some other similar plastic. It feels a little cheap in the hand. The weapon is not "full-tang" (I.e. the blade ends at the hilt, rather then continuing all the way up the handle). This means that in any kind of mock battle or play, the blade could easily be disconnected from the handle. Even a hard swing of the sword in the air could potentially damage it. The blade itself is made from a cheaper metal, and could use a good polishing once it arrives. I would use it soley for display, or to compliment a costume.

This sword is awesome,the triforce is excellent on the one I received and its great in weight and slightly sharp and the tip and the top of the scabbard are metal and great detail. The only down fall to it, is that its slightly darker and the paint is a little spraypainty and mine has a little chip in it, but i'm happy with it and its detail. Its a must have either way.

I was expecting it not to look like the picture. the sword is very good ...if you get this you most deffently need the sheild for the full zelda look...only complaint i have is the color of the sword is not the same blue shown in this picture or on other sites and youtube videos... but its not bad its just a dark blue but it looks lighter in the sunlight
