I specifically purchased this item with the intent of mounting it on my wall with a plaque. I'm a moderate fan of the Zelda games; my first experience being on the ol' SNES, going through Zelda: Ocarina of Time, several of the Gameboy, GBC, and GBA games, and finally beating Twilight Princess recently.

The sword looks very much as it appears in the pictures, dark blue pommel and grip. The weapon is quite long. I reccomend pulling out a measuring tape and visually comparing the length given in the description before buying. It looks like the master-sword, and so it should. The scabbard is very nice, though there are no loops or holes to attach to your own belt.

My only complaints with the weapon are minor. The Hilt, grip, and pommel seem to be molded from PVC or some other similar plastic. It feels a little cheap in the hand. The weapon is not "full-tang" (I.e. the blade ends at the hilt, rather then continuing all the way up the handle). This means that in any kind of mock battle or play, the blade could easily be disconnected from the handle. Even a hard swing of the sword in the air could potentially damage it. The blade itself is made from a cheaper metal, and could use a good polishing once it arrives. I would use it soley for display, or to compliment a costume.

This sword is awesome,the triforce is excellent on the one I received and its great in weight and slightly sharp and the tip and the top of the scabbard are metal and great detail. The only down fall to it, is that its slightly darker and the paint is a little spraypainty and mine has a little chip in it, but i'm happy with it and its detail. Its a must have either way.

I was expecting it not to look like the picture. the sword is very good ...if you get this you most deffently need the sheild for the full zelda look...only complaint i have is the color of the sword is not the same blue shown in this picture or on other sites and youtube videos... but its not bad its just a dark blue but it looks lighter in the sunlight

This replica is a beauty and any zelda fan will love to add this ot their collection. It comes encased in 2 styrofoam blocks that prevents the sword from moving around in the box during shipping, so it's very unlikely that it gets damaged before being delivered to you. The scabbard is smooth and nicely polished and the sword itself is full of small details that just make the replica feel authentic! One thing to look out for, however, is the mouth of the scabbard (the "golden" part where you slide the blade in). It has a v-shaped groove in it that the diamond on the blade's guard slides into, but mine fit in so snuggly that I couldn't draw the blade without having the golden part still stuck to it and coming completely off from the scabbard! It's a problem that's easily fixable and yours may not even get that problem, but in this case it will cost a point to what would otherwise be a five stars item! All in all, I still recommend it and beyond that one little flaw mine had, it remains a great product!

The sword is absolutely beautiful!! the only problem i found was that the yellow paint was a little cheesy and poorly done, an easy fix, and a couple tiny little scratches on the blade (You can notice them unless you look very carefully), other than that, this is aa amazing sword, recommend it for Legend of Zelda fans, a must buy!!

The item arrived on time and in the condition specified. However; the stenciling on the scabbard is poorly done and is obviously spray painted by hand. The blade is flimsy and does not fit into the scabbard correctly. The first time I sheathed it, the little yellow triangle on the guard chipped on both sides. Not bad for the price, but not a quality product.

This sward is the nicest Master Sward I" d see.
If you love Legend of Zelda take it.
But remember: as it is a replica, its not recomended for children.

This has been a sword that I have wanted for a long time now, and was worth the wait. It looks awesome my only nic-pick would be that the handle and scabbard are a darker blue then what is in the pictures shown. It still looks awesome for display or for accenting a costume. I would recommend this to friends but sticklers to color accuracy beware that it may not look like the picture.

Out of most of the reviews on here, I must say, I agree with them, But to very few little details.

To say, I bought what I saw in the picture, and I was expecting the same. Upon FedEx arriving a few hours ago with this item, after getting the box open, I knew it was exactly what I ordered. The Scabbard is pretty nicely detailed, and is really sturdy. The Sword is great, in looks and feels absolutely amazing. Its a tad bit heavy for a one handed sword, But its actually what I expected. I had high expectations for this sword when I ordered it, and every bit of my expectations were filled.

The only things I have to complain about would have to be what some of the other people have mentioned, and that would be that the Paint job is actually pretty dark compared to the picture, yet, in the right light, it looks fine. Otherwise, the sword myself seems a little more flimsy then I thought, but I hadn't really planned on swinging it around too much. Other then those small imperfections, this sword is exactly what I wanted.

EXTREMELY COOL~ It's a really solid sword, I wouldn't risk hitting anything with it but it doesn't feel wobbly in the hilt or anything. It seems well made and has some good weight to it.

Only thing that isn't so great is that the blue color is not identical to what is pictured and is inaccurate from the color in the game. The sword I received was a much darker navy blue. I may eventually make it a DIY project to re-paint.

The gold details that are painted on the hilt are not perfect, it looks like they were spray painted through a stencil, but unless you're standing a foot away from it you can't really tell. To be expected from a mass produced item.

Overall I'm quite happy with it, but the hardcore fan in me is disappointed by the inaccurate blue.
