A little ancient history,

This review is from: Zen and the Art of the Internet: A Beginner's Guide (Paperback)
A lot has changed on the Internet in decade or so since this book was published. It describes the domain name system, SMTP email, Usenet, Telnet and FTP. No mention of the World Wide Web, which was just getting off the ground when this book was published. The book seems quaint now, though much of the information still applies. Read about "the" Internet worm, the Cuckoo's egg and the online Coke machine!
