This is a must have book for any seeker on the Zen path. It contains four original sources; "101 Zen Stories", "The Gateless Gate", "10 Bulls" and "Centering". Zen is essentially a doctrine or scripture free philosophy, so undertaking a scholarly study of Zen is difficult. These four sources reveal the truths behind Zen, in the traditional ways of Zen, through parables, stories, and illustrations. It is an ideal introduction, I recommend it highly!
