Zen Simplified,

This review is from: Zen: Key to Your Undiscovered Happiness (Paperback)
C.N.Hu's "ZEN, Key to Your Undiscovered Happiness" is one of the most simplified, easy to read, outlines of Zen and Buddhism spiritual philosophy.Among other down-to-earth discussions, there are chapters on What is Nirvana? Mantra as Physical Therapy, and a comparative guide of Buddhistic Dietary Rules vs Modern Nutritional Science. For the lay person on a quest, this book is priceless.

Short and succint,
By Lily Lu (Montibello, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Zen: Key to Your Undiscovered Happiness (Paperback)
This is a really short book, only 117 pages and is written very simply. But it is full of the wisdom of Buddhism. I especially liked the use of the electromagnetic spectrum to show how human eyes and ears are limited in what they can perceive. I also was intrigued by the idea that language cannot express reality. |
