Worlds Best Electric Cigarette Machine????
on April 5, 2012
If their slogan "Worlds Best Electric Cigarette Machine" is true, don't buy electric! Have had this machine 1-1/2 months. Have only had 2 problems - Getting it to turn on, and making cigarettes. Out of the box had to bump it, shake it or tap it to get it to turn on. Not a problem, warranty should fix this when I send it back. Second problem means a little more. That's why I bought it. Have tried 8 different kinds/cuts of tobacco, 6 different kinds of tubes (my preference IS the Zen tubes when I can find them). I've tried coarse, fine and ribbon cut anywhere from moist to crispy dry and can not achieve any sort of satisfactory operation. I prefer 100mm menthol and have probably been able to make a couple of cartons (it will make a pretty decent king size a lot of the time), but I have wasted at least a carton of tubes. OK, the tubes are not that big of a deal, reasonably cheap, but the time wasted and the aggravation factor . . . Hey, I didn't start this to have a full time hobby.
Gave up, bought a Top-o-matic T2 manual and have been making cigs ever since (their 1 year 1 time warranty sucks, pay to send them the machine, send them $12.50, and they will fix it 1 time). These 2 machines work the same way, fill a tobacco chamber (both too short for 100's) compress it, push it into the tube with a "spoon" and retract. The manual works, the electric doesn't. (Hey Zen, use a little more motor or slow it down, make the spoon a little larger in diameter, and pause the spoon 1/2 second at the end of the fill stroke, make the chamber longer, market it as "New and improved - Now Works")
