Army Diver Disappoints, December 4, 2010

This is a nice looking watch and when I've worn it I've gotten compliments on it's looks. That's the only reason to give it three stars. It doesn't do well on the used market and isn't all that popular among watch aficionados. The non-quickset-date swiss movement is a pain to deal with if you've let the watch sit for any length of time. It's also non-hacking and non-handwindable. Not terrible but not great for a watch at this price. The dial looks good in pictures and from afar but up close looks like it was made on an inkjet printer. I like the style of the hands but that's just subjective on my part. The bracelet is nicely polished and feels well made but doesn't have a diver's extension.
All-in-all Zeno could have made a great watch by adding a better face, movement, and bracelet. As it is, however, I don't think it is even worth the grey market price shown here and certainly not their list price.
