5.0 out of 5 stars Kirsten Still Continues To Show Her Great Talent!
I would never have expected to ever see a sequal to this movie, which I admit I was excited when it came out last January. The first was the best, like many movies. Die-hard "Zenon Girl Of The 21'st Century" fans may be a bit dissapointed that the characters remain the same, but some are played by other stars instead. The lead singer of "Microbe"...

versus
3.0 out of 5 stars A ok movie.
It's a pretty good little Disney movie however it is not ones of my faves. The effects were first rate. Over all I'll say its worth watching.

The lead singer of "Microbe" remains his arrogant self and has a bigger part in this movie. Characters Zenon and Margie, who were enemies in the first movie now share a connection in this sequal where the two of them are the main characters. This movie was filmed in Australia while Kirsten Storms took a break from her leading role as Belle Black on TV's Days of Our Lives. Many things lost my attention in the sequal unlike the first movie. There are more than just one plot and the plots do come together but just don't hold strong enough. The space station looks different and even Zenon's room looks 100% different. Her age would have only changed by a year since the last movie so spicing up the space station just does not seem legitimate. I would still show this movie to any kid, teen, or parent for that matter. In some ways, you have to see the first movie to understand the "zoom zoom zoom" phrase and other phrases, but this movie has other plots by themselves so that takes away the need to see the first one. I still loved the first Zenon the best, but I also give this one credit because it shows the bonding of two people who could not stand each other finally face reality and be able to get along which really can teach young children a valuable lesson in the future. So don't by shy, buy this "Stellar!" video and don't forget to buy the first part now!

Hey Everyone, Thank you so much for visiting this site and reading my review. It will defiantly rock you world form here in Earth way out to outer space. The minute you start to watch it you will be glued to the tv and will want to watch it over and over again.
Ok well, lets stick to the main facts about this movie. It is about a girl Zenon who lives in space with her mother, father, and some of her friends. Now remember they used to live on Earth. She had to work in a room and got signals from outer space and she thinks that it was really aliens from outer space but no one believes her. Then she went to her room and got some more signals it was part of ProtoZoa's song Zoom zoom zoom and she was sure it was aliens. Then her friend Nebula had to go back to Earth. So Zenon got this plan to go to Earth to get ProtoZoa who is a rock star. She got some help from her aunt and her friend. After she got to Earth she had to find out where ProtoZoa lives. Once Zenon and her friend found ProtoZoa they had to leave to go to outerspace. Then something amazaing happened. I will let you find out about the rest so it will make you want to watch it even more. So I will let you hang until you watch this movie. So please, please say that reading my review will change your mind and that you will difiantly want to watch this movie. Also if you watch this movie you will hear the song of all of you dreams. It is one of my most favorite songs. It is about Zenon and outer space. So if you watch this movie at the end you will hear the song that I am telling you all about. Thanks!!

Zenon: The Zequel is the best movie in the whole solar system. This movie will totally rock your world from Earth to outer space!

4.0 out of 5 stars Title, May 28, 2002
This review is from: Zenon - The Zequel - Disney Channel Original Movie [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I only gave it four stars because of the cast change. Raven-Symone was shooting Dr. Dolittle 2, and couldn't return as Nebula, and Zenon's parents are different. That's upsetting to me because it jumps out at me. That's the only reason.

The character development is better this tiem around. The first one was all romantinc and sappy, but still good. This one adds _touches_ of romanticism and sappiness. I love how in several scenes there are several things going on at once. Just like real life. It's cool seeing all the characters together in many of the final scenes, and the Margi thing suprised me first time I saw it. It's better than the origional.

And FUNNY!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not As "Stellar" As The First!, December 11, 2001
This review is from: Zenon - The Zequel - Disney Channel Original Movie [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I loved the first movie, but the second one dosen't meet my standards! For one thing, the space station looks like it has advanced 100 years. It's way to different than the one from the first movie. Second, I didn't like the actors who replaced Zenon's parents and Nebula! They didn't do as good of a role. And third, the story wasn't as exciting as the original. After breaking up with Gregory, Z's Earth boyfriend, Zenon is punished to work in the Alien patroll lab. What's worse, Zenon's enemy, Margie, moves to space with her dad who has plans to destroy it due to deterioration (even though the space station is in better condition than in the first). Now Proto-Zoa, Zenon's favorite musician has dissapeared and Aliens have contacted her through Proto-Zoa's hit song. When she stows away to Earth, being followed by Margie, Zenon must find Proto-Zoa, bring him to space, and make contact with the aliens. I know, it sounds corny but it's not as bad as it sounds. Kirsten Storms gives another great performance. She is cuter in this one too! If you liked the first one, you'll like the second one!

I have watched this movie everytime that it has been on television. Me and my friends make sure we watch it together, it sort of bonds us. This movie is tons of fun and is very appealing to young generations and it will become a classic. Kirsten Storms is a wonderful actress and we think she will become a huge actor. Her career will only grow and make her bigger. Beware people, there is no stopping her now

4.0 out of 5 stars We All Wish We Were Zenon, September 13, 2007

I've watched this movie SO many times back when it aired on Disney, and I've watched its predecessor and successor as well. It's obviously a Disney movie, made for the 8-to-15 age range, but for someone like me who's into space exploration and future technologies, the movie surpasses the age barrier. It obviously has some pitfalls for older viewers, particularly the that's-too-easy plot line and some of the more embarrassing catch-phrases that the writers created for use as "space slang," but there are also some fantastic space elements in the movie. The costumes used are AWESOME -- I wish that stuff were in fashion, because I'd be wearing it everywhere. The space station sets are futuristic in a realistic sort of way that makes you think, "If I had to imagine what a space station would look like in 50 years, I think that'd be it." It's not going to win any awards, and its plot is a little less than stellar, but this movie is my guilty pleasure. Whenever I'm feeling the blues because I'm stuck here on boring old Earth, I'd pop in my Zenon: The Zequel tape and let myself get swept away in the fun, futuristism, and yes...even the slightly cheesy space-age slang. :D

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than the First one!!!!, December 26, 2001
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Zenon - The Zequel - Disney Channel Original Movie [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I like this when it came out on t.v. I thought it was going to be cool to see a sequel and it was Kirsten Storms is a great actress even in the first one and Johnny Tsunami as Emily she's great but they replaced a different girl as Nebula Shadia Simmons from The Color of Friendship and Quints instead of Raven Seymone from the 1998 comedy film Doctor Dolittle and the 2001's Doctor Dolittle 2 oh well at least she was great as Nebula and Lauren Maltby from the original Movie Surfers series anyways this is a great film and you should by it too when it's available in January 2002.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Zenon - The Zequel - Disney Channel Original Movie [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Zenon the Zeaquel is incredibly different from the 1st one, Zenon Girl of the 21st Century. For one thing they did some major construction on the space stay, all the props and sets are totally different. Plus different people play Nebula and Zenon's parents. Personally I like the first actors better. Nebula totally looses her attitude. Zenon's mom is scared of earth to a point that she had to put on a stress helmet every time she thinks about it. Meanwhile in the story department, Greg dumps Zee. Zenon gets in trouble and is put to work in the alien patrol lab. Proto Zoa has disappeared. Margie moves to Space and totally messes up Zee's life. The Space Station starts to deteriorate and General Hammond, Margie's dad, had orders to shut it down. Meanwhile Zenon discovers aliens and has her heart set on finding them but nobody believes her. "phew" Let me catch my breath here. Certainly more busy than the first one but overall it kept my interest and entertained me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Zenon: The Continuing Best Movie Ever!, October 23, 2011
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Zenon - The Zequel - Disney Channel Original Movie [VHS] (VHS Tape)
If You didn't read my review from the first Zenon movie. I continue reviewing other movies and this one was the other lucky movie. Kirsten continues her role (Zenon Karr) Lauren Maltby becomes a main character as Margie & Shadia Simmons replaces Raven Nebula Wade. More action & more comedy when Zenon is 15 years old. She cuts her hair and is taller & a little more responsible! Unlike Zenon: Girl Of The 21st Century it is only on VHS. Other than that This movie Is Stellar!
