Zerex worked in my car.

Check your owners manual because if you are like me - you were unaware that my Jeep Liberty engine and Dodge Caravan required a very specific type of antifreeze.

You will come to find that I am right, either way, so you might as well just get this one and be done with it.

I use G-05 in my '87 Mercedes and '92 Honda. There are at least three types of antifreeze, and before you buy, you need to know which chemistry is correct for your car. I recommend the antifreeze application chart which Zerex publishes:

[...]

If, in fact, your car needs G-05 chemistry, this stuff is probably what you want. $13 a gallon with free shipping is a fine deal.

You will also want a gallon of distilled water, available at your supermarket, to mix with the G-05 to get the correct freeze protection.

I read my owners manual and for my 2007 Jeep Commander Overland with 5.7L HEMI, it was clear that only an antifreeze/coolant that has HOAT composition would be appropriate for topping off the radiator - at least if I didn't want to ruin the anti-corrosion protection of the MOPAR original fluid, and have to completely flush the system later....

Be careful because in the stores the antifreeze/coolant bottles all claim that you can pour their stuff into "any" car, "any" color antifreeze/coolant. But the fine print says "only for short term topping up" and "must completely flush system and top up with fresh coolant" to preserve the anti-corrosion properties of the original fluid. So basically I read these and concluded that it was misleading.

This fluid is a correct replacement for the MOPAR fluid in my vehicle (2007 Jeep Commander Overland with 5.7L HEMI) and will not react with the existing fluid in the vehicle or compromise the long-term protection provided (100K miles between services).

I purchased a gallon of distilled water from a large retailer, and mixed up two gallons from this full strength gallon here. It was a slightly cheaper alternative to purchasing the pre-mixed 50/50 solution that is also offered. I made sure to tightly cap the two bottles and label them so they're not confused with windshield washer fluid or orange juice....

I called several Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, and O'Reilly stores in my area and none of them carried this coolant that is required for my Mercedes C230. Great price and quick shipping with Prime here from Amazon.

I found this item for my 2011 Jeep Liberty. This one was only $4 more then the 50/50 mix, which is 1/2 antifreeze and 1/2 distilled water. This product is consentrated antifreeze so you have to pour 1/2 distilled water into the mix. Its a much better buy for you money.

I used it when I replaced the cooling system in my BMW, as it is just about the same chemically to the OEM BMW coolant. Works great! The only strange thing about it is that the fluid is clear, so good luck identifying it as coolant if it does leak!

This is cheaper than the OEM stuff and just as highly rated. What's not to like? Save money for your E90

Great replacement for conventional green coolant! I used it in place of Dex Cool on my gm 3.1. This is a low silicate formula that is pretty much universal on any engine if you flush all of your old coolant out with distilled water.
