1.0 out of 5 stars Was I Reading the Same Book? Total Waste of Money!
I was reading the other reviews and wondered if I was reading the same book. I even checked the cover to make sure. Yep, I read the same book but didn't get the same information out of it than other people had. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if all of the other reviews were from Ryan Allis' mother, neighbors, and friends just to boost the book's credibility...

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book For Acheiving Personal and Professional Goals, February 13, 2004
This review is from: Zero to One Million: How to Build a Company to $1 Million in Sales (Paperback)
After reading "Zero to One Million" and implementing the strategies and techniques in Mr. Allis's book, my business revenue has almost tripled in a short 4-months time. I am the CEO of a neutraceutical corporation and interact with CEO'S from companies in the USA and Internationally. I can honestly say I have tried multiple methods and hired multiple marketing and management teams in the past, spending 100'S of thousands of dollars with little to no results. I have also read multiple books on subjects of personal and business development including Stephen Covey, Richard Gerber, Anthoney Robbins, Louise Hay, Dale Carnegie and more. "Zero to One Million" covers the beginner to advanced stages it takes to become successful and financially secure. I would recommend this book to all entrepreneurs and successful business men and women.

5.0 out of 5 stars Zero to One Million is priceless for two reasons, February 1, 2004

This review is from: Zero to One Million: How to Build a Company to $1 Million in Sales (Paperback)
I've known Ryan for almost two years now. He has done tremendous work for me and I am happy to own and have read Zero to One Million. If you have not read this book yet I will explain why you should... Ryan was not a dot com millionaire, he was not "one of those kids your neighbor knows" when he made his first million, in fact he's not even a computer geek. He's only 19, but let Ryan introduce himself to you in the first chapters, he'll earn your respect before you can sit it down. Ryan's been in the business world long enough to know there is no 'inside information' that helps people like him succeed. Ryan was born with an unnatural ability to visualize an entire business, from the first customer to the millionth. His perspective provides readers a roadmap in which they learn how he did it, and how he continues to do it. Zero to One Million explains 'it.' When I met Ryan at age 17, he had not only visualized his first business, he had grown it into a million dollar operation. Zero to One Million is priceless for two reasons: 1) Ryan's detailed path of personal and professional development shows how a great entrepreneur was made and will instill confidence and direction in anyone with dreams, 2) Ryan is an expert at creating systems, the pages of Zero to One Million are a written key of the systematic procedures (previously contained only in his head) he uses to organize his bias-toward-action that leads him to success in multiple business ventures. In closing, if you're an entrepreneur with a dream, or if you dream of being an entrepreneur, read Zero to One Million (borrow it from a friend if you can't afford it) and let Ryan push you off that ledge. You'll be prepared for whatever is next.

This review is from: Zero to One Million: How to Build a Company to $1 Million in Sales (Paperback)
Most books of this genre are great motivational books, but are simply that. Zero..Million is a tool for anyone who has ever dreamt of starting a business. It has the aspects of all the other books, plus practical instructions, how-tos and resources. The 100 Steps to Building a Business is in itself worth the price of the book. It gives you the motivation to get you going and the step-by-step details to keep you going. The introduction is a bit lengthy; the global framework is a bit dry, but contains important information. I definently recommend this book to anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit, product idea or desire to start a business.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well Worth The Time and Money, January 7, 2004
This review is from: Zero to One Million: How to Build a Company to $1 Million in Sales (Paperback)
I am the author of the best-selling book, The Student Success Manifesto and have known Ryan for about two years now. I have to sincerely say that every interaction that I have had with him has left me wiser and more motivated. This book will do the same for you!

In addition, the fact that Zero to One Million is so easy to read says a lot about Ryan's deep understanding of what it takes to be an entrepreneur!

5.0 out of 5 stars For Anyone With A Dream., April 13, 2007
This review is from: Zero to One Million: How to Build a Company to $1 Million in Sales (Paperback)
The problem with books that have been composed by successful businessmen and women is that those books have, usually, been written after those individuals have reached the top: the top of the entrepreneur mountain that is, and they have accomplished their dream only to be "cursed with knowledge" when attempting to inspire others. What about those entrepreneurs on their way to the top?

Ryan writes this book as he is creating his multi-million dollar company. His viewpoints are those of someone in the midst of the struggles and triumphs that every successful "entrepreneur in the making" goes through. Ryan has written one of the best business startup and growth books that I have ever read. This book is written in a way that seems like your best friend has just found his success and wants to help you achieve that same success. For me, this book was one I just could not put down. It is a very easy and enjoyable read. I recommend "Zero to One Million" as an inspirational read to any young person with a dream of one day starting his or her own company.

5.0 out of 5 stars great book :), July 22, 2006
This review is from: Zero to One Million: How to Build a Company to $1 Million in Sales (Paperback)
It is said that ten companies fail for every one that succeeds. I think that says a lot for Mr. Allis as he has three companies that are flourishing. It is amazing and wonderful that Mr. Allis has been so successful, and at an age that most are still not think past the weekend. I look forward to watching his career unfold. The book is well written and gives a lot of insight into the world of business. I enjoined the recap of history. It was a nice backdrop for what he had to say about how world economics work. The trial and error of government/economic types of last century are not totally understood at this time and that like nature only the strongest types of economies will survey. Mr. Allis revealed some light there that broadened my knowledge. Mr. Allis is also right in his assertion that not all are given equal standing in the world. This is a sad fact of life but also a great factor in why humanity strives to succeed. If there is no evil then there is no good. There must be an element of challenge. His understanding of economies is amazing. Through his book, he has drastically moved my mind set, from isolationism to that of free open markets. Freedom and wealth will flow best threw open gates. Thank you once more Mr. Allis for spreading charity and wisdom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read for inspiring entrepreneurs, July 20, 2006

This review is from: Zero to One Million: How to Build a Company to $1 Million in Sales (Paperback)
I ran into "Zero To One Million" threee weeks ago at one of my mother's co-workers house. I asked to borrow this book from my mother's co-worker because I am a college student very interested in entrepreneurship. After reading this book, now am inspired to network harder in the entrepreneurial communites at my university and area to find partners for my potential venture.

Ryan Allis through "Zero To One Million" provides good instruction how to lay a foundation into building a successful company. Also, Allis explains how he got his foundation of being an entrepreneur and gives pointers on how to become a successful entrepreneur. Ryan does all of this while giving a background on how entrepreneurship affects each of us individually and why it is important for our country to continue to think entrepreneurially.

"Zero To One Million" is a gem for young inspiring entrepreneurs like myself and to others who feel they may neep help with advancing the sales of their business.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read for any future entrepreneurs..., June 3, 2004
By
This review is from: Zero to One Million: How to Build a Company to $1 Million in Sales (Paperback)
Zero To One Million is a very informative book that any future entrepreneur or anyone planning to start a business of their own should read and benefit from. The 100 steps to building a company to $1 million in sales is worth the cost of the book alone. I found the information easy to read and follow and, more importantly, easy to put into practice. Mr. Allis was able to provide me with a step by step guide on how to not only get started with a business, but also how to maintain and grow it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone just starting out with a business of their own or any small business owners looking for an extra "edge" to stimulate growth. The web marketing ideas and information on search engine optimization were of immense value to me in my job. Zero To One Million is definitely a must buy!
