Siam Shade Zero
This is the 4th Siam Shade album I've bought and although different from the others, it's still great. I was surprised to find that Track 1-Dear and Track 6- Dare GA No Kimochi O Kangaeta Koto GA Arimasu Ka had a very polished sound, similar to Tears I Cried on Siam Shade 5. If you've ever listened to Siam Shade you know that Hideki's vocals usually sound pretty raw...

Cool J-Rock
This is a pretty cool album. The members of Siam Shade are: Hideki - vocal, Kazuma - vocal and guitar, Daita - guitar, Natin - bass, and Junji - drums. First of all the tracks on this CD are: 1. Dear... 2. No! Marionette 3. 1/3 no junjou na kanjou 4. Bloody Train 5. Money is king? 6. dareka no kimochi o kangaeta koto ga arimasu ka...

Siam Shade Zero, January 11, 2010
This review is from: Zero (Audio CD)
This is the 4th Siam Shade album I've bought and although different from the others, it's still great. I was surprised to find that Track 1-Dear and Track 6- Dare GA No Kimochi O Kangaeta Koto GA Arimasu Ka had a very polished sound, similar to Tears I Cried on Siam Shade 5. If you've ever listened to Siam Shade you know that Hideki's vocals usually sound pretty raw. Track 6 is my favorite and quite interesting because it's sort of a Hideki/Kazuma duet and it's partially acoustic, which was new. Track 2- No! Marionette and Track 5- Money is King? are just really fun. Being a Kenshin fan, I of course love Track 3- 1/3 no junjou, na kanjou. The only song I really hated was Track 4- Bloody Train. Usually the Japanese versions of songs are better than their English counterparts(such as PASSION) but not with Bloody Train. In addition to Siam Shade Zero, I would also suggest III,5, and the Siam Shade albums. They all have a unique sound.

Cool J-Rock, February 17, 2002

PASSION 11. Shout out This is Siam Shade's '98 album. (When you open it their '98 tour schedule will fall out.) Making it far from their latest album. The actual reason I bought this album is because of 1/3 no junjou na kanjou, which is one of the Rurouni Kenshin ending songs, and a personal favorite of mine. It turned out to be my favorite song on the album, which kind of dissapointed me. The songs on this CD are pretty good, about as good as all j-rock songs are. I'm sorry I can't compare this CD to Siam Shade's others, this being the first of their CDs that I own. (And probably the last.) Track 7, Virtuoso, is entirely instrumental. I didn't really like it, but I'm not much of a fan of intrumental songs either. I'd say that the overall quality of the CD is pretty good, if you're an avid Siam Shade fan, then you would probably want to get it. But if you're just interested in what j-rock sounds like, I guess this would be an interesting one to try out. I'd say it's not worth buying it just for track 3, like I did, but it's sure a cool thing to have.
