Will appeal to both old school and nu metal fans...,

This review is from: Zero Tolerance (Audio CD)
Mantas's first solo album since 1988's Winds Of Change is quite different from his normal Venom sound. Though there is still remnence of the his Venom tradmark guitar sound, there is considerable difference as the guitars sound more synthesized and overall more heavy. The ablum itself is quite unique as it will appeal to both old school metal fans and "nu-metal" fans. There is still plenty of old school rhythem and even guitar solo's, but there is an addition of vocals from a guy that has that "nu-metal" vocal style. I personally am a old school metalhead and really can't stand most of the "nu-metal" released today, but I found myself really liking this album. I also find people that aren't hot on "old" metal to also like the album. Maybe its just because I've always liked Mantas as a guitarist and am willing to try anything he does. Is every Venom fan garanteed to like this album? Absolutely not, but some might find it very interesting, as I did. As long as Mantas is still crankin out head bangin metal, I'll be there to listen.
