Book Description

April 2003
Chef, restaurateur, and vivacious bon vivant, Diane Clement has lived a life immersed in the culinary culture of Canada's West Coast. But she hasn't been confined to the kitchen. She has travelled the world, sampling the fare each country has to offer. Zest for Life looks back on five decades of favourite recipes and fond, food-related memories. Each of more than 150 recipes reflects its era, from inspired variations on standards such as Mama Tomato's Old-Fashioned Meatloaf and The Ultimate Macaroni and Cheese from the fifties, through the fusion dishes of the nineties such as Moroccan Lemon Chicken and Portobello Mushroom Pizzeta, all presented with Diane's infectious exuberance.
