Editorial Reviews

A compilation of over 20 DIY songs and films by Georgia indie-pop musician David "Zeus" Henderson. Decompositions plays like a wild combination of home movies, Magical Mystery Tour, REM's Left Of Reckoning and Koyaanisqatsi. Henderson is probably best known as bassist for Atlanta bands Orange Hat, Wild West Picture Show, Gerard McHugh, Shawn Mullins, and others, but on this disc he essentially works alone, fusing homemade Beatlesque pop tunes with equally sixties inspired visuals. As most of these videos were shot in pre-Olympics Atlanta, this may also be of interest to longtime residents and history and railroad buffs.

Songs include:
A Prayer
Vanishing Past
Cemetery Gates
Larry Railroad Man
Steel Mill
Misses Me
Nostalgia Of An Infinite Landscape
Following Trains
Rusted Shoe
Slapping Houses
Melancholy Watercolor Days
Coconut Girl
Lemon Hair Rose
Blue Garden Party
Towne Square
World Won't Slow Down
Squidhead Farmplow
Sky Cafe
