This is a great dispenser! The metal base is heavy and has rubber discs to prevent it from sliding on the counter. It fits perfectly under the kitchen cabinet, and it could also be hung on a wall. The best thing about the dispenser is its convenience and easy of use. I tend to forget about cereal when its stored out of sight in the cabinet, so it tends to go stale -- I don't have that problem any longer.

My husband loves cereal for breakfast, and I bought it so he doesn't have to go to the pantry every morning to get a box of cereal. It was a perfect fit for him, and it even accommodates the extra large cereal bowl that he uses. I was surprised at how big it was, but the stainless steel frame is incredibly beautiful. The rubber turn knob doesn't jam up as easily as I expected, although dense cereal may require a bit more effort to dispense. Only complaints: 1. The top plastic covers are not completely airtight, but are fine for dry cereal. 2. The bottom rubber covers fall out easily - they should fit more snugly.

The Zevro Easy Morning Dual Dry Food Dispenser is a very good product. My five year old loves being able to easily get her own cereal.

Cereal does "leak" out of the bottom of the mechanism if there is any left over in the mechanism after the bowel is removed. This is not a real problem in the suburbs.

In a city apartment the cereal leakage from the bottom, and the lack of an airtight seal on the top, could be a problem for bugs (roachs).

The unit is stable and sturdy. It is attractive on the counter.

I first purchased the Dual dry food dispenser in black. Its plastic through and seemed like it wanted to fall over. I was always "straightening" the back of it. So I returned it and got the stainless steel one. It is very sturdy. I love it! My kids just stick their hand or bowl under it and turn the knob. I have even caught my husband putting his hand under it several times a day to get a "snack"! Needless to say, We love it!

I bought this because it looked great, but it turns out it was very functional also. It looks great on the counter and since it is stainless steel, it is quite heavy and there is no danger of tipping.

I was worried that the lids weren't tight enough because they just pop on, but I have had cereal in it for over a month and still fresh as can be. The bigger cereals come out with a little more difficulty then smaller cereals, but they don't come out crushed.

The bins are big enough so that an entire box of cereal fits in it at once. Mine didn't smell bad like some reviewers said and after putting a couple of pieces together it was ready to go.

I JUST BOUGHT THIS 2 WEEKS AGO . IT HAS TO BE WASHED WELL BEFORE USE , BECAUSE IT SMELLS LIKE PLASTIC AND THE FIRST TIME IT GOT INTO THE CEREAL WHICH I THREW OUT . BUT THAT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT WASHING IT WELL ENOUGH . THE PLASTIC CAPS STILL SMELL BUT IT HASN'T DONE ANYTHING TO THE CEREAL. MY KIDS LOVE IT , IT JUST DREW THEM TO THE CEREAL AND THEY ATE THE WHOLE BOX IN TWO DAYS !IT DOE'S CRUSH THE CEREAL ALITTLE , BUT SO WOULD TAKING IT OUT OF THE BOX, BY TIME YOU GET TO THE END OF THE BOX. I HAVE PARROTS IN THE HOUSE, THEIR PARROT FOOD CREATES PANTRY MOTHS WHICH CAN GET INTO THE CEREAL . THIS IS GREAT TO KEEP THEM OUT AND YOU CAN EAT YOUR CEREAL WITHOUT WORRY. I JUST BOUGHT ANOTHER DUAL THAT I AM WAITING FOR ,I WOULD LOVE TO LINE MY COUNTERS WITH IT THEY LOOK AWESOME. I PUT CEREAL IN ONE AND NUTS AND RAISIN MIX IN THE OTHER . I SEE THAT THEY ALSO HAVE THEM FOR PETS , THAT WILL BE MY NEXT PURCHASE.. ONLY COMPLAINT SO FAR IS THAT THE END CAPS DO NOT REALLY FIT THAT TIGHT , THEY COULD BE ALITTLE TIGHTER .. OTHER THEN THAT GREAT SO FAR

It crushes the cereal into practically nothing and it is so hard to turn I can barely do it, never mind letting my kids try to do it.
What a waste of money.

Love it! Bought it for my 3-year old who is in the "I want to do it myself" stage. Put her two favorite cereals in the dispenser and now she can get a bowl, fill it with cereal and grab a spoon all by herself in the morning. She still has to wait until Mommy pours the milk - but we're working on that!

We've been using these cereal dispensers for roughly four years now and, frankly, just gave up. While they look great, make portioning and dispensing a breeze for kids, they just don't work at keeping cereal fresh and usable. I guess if you're going through two to three boxes a week, you probably wouldn't notice, but as a normal family who eats 5-7 bowls/week, total, the cereal gets stale LONG before the dispenser is emptied. In fact, anytime after a week usually results in inedible cereal. We've tried lots of tricks to make these work/seal better, but nothing helps. Forget air tight, they don't even keep cereal as fresh as rolling up the original bag and storing it in the box does. We've also had issues with leaking crumbs, bottom caps that just fall off (a lot) and cereal that either won't dispense, because it's too big for the rubber paddle, or won't stop dispensing, because it's too small.

I really wanted to love these, because they're expensive and attractive, but the truth is, it's definitely form over function. After throwing away yet another almost full dispenser of cereal, which I just filled less than three weeks ago, I relegated this to the garage.

I ordered 3 of the dual dispensers and they work incredibly well. They are the perfect height for the back of the counter under cabinets and look very professional. In one pair we put ground and bean coffee, rice and flour in another pair and cereals in the last pair. We tried using one for sugar, but it leaked easily and seems to work best with larger dry goods, though the flour one does fine. Will order another pair for dog food, and another for a b'day gift.
