This item was a big disappointment. First of all, it is too tall to fit in a normal kitchen cabinet. Secondly, the lid does not appear to be air tight to me. I find it loose and ill fitting. Thirdly, after using the product for two days, the dispenser froze and would no longer dispense coffee or move at all. This purchase has not been worth all of the trouble and expense.

I love this coffee measurer. It works like a charm, no more mess on my counter and so easy top use. Has never jammed or clogged up. Perfect coffee first time, everytime. It even looks great on my counter. I love gadgets!

This device is fantastic! No more cleaning up coffee grounds all over the counter, and no more spooning coffee out of uncooperative bags. Had a couple of accidents at first - had to get used to the coffee dispensing directly under the hand control. And, found out you need to tilt it slightly to the sides and tap or shake it over the coffee pot when you are done dispensing, so that stray coffee doesn't fall on the counter. We keep ours in the refrigerator for extra freshness. I'm ordering more for gifts.

It makes a huge mess, its very cheap feeling and doesn't do a good job of doing what its supposed to do. I threw it in the trash.

It is a cool idea. It doesnt work well enough to use. It spills coffee everywhere. It is harder to use than to scoop coffee the usual way.

I bought this because I hated digging in those bags of coffee especially when it got down to the bottom.
While this looks very nice I have it next to my coffee pot on the counter, it leaks coffee out the bottom from the time you pick it up (just a tiny bit then) to the time you put it back (note: putting back in tray very gently) it leaks at least a half to three quarters teaspoon out. The tray is helpful at catching some but it is very small and a custom fit to the dispenser, it does not help. I still end up with coffee on the counter. I thought this was going to be a wonderful (especially since it is non-electric)appliance. It turns out I waste way to much coffee. I have just written an email to the company to see if there is a fix for this extra leakage. So I'm not sure if this is common to all. Just know mine is worthless. I did not try sugar in here, but I imagine it would leak worse since the coffee is bigger granuale.

We love our dispenser. Gave 5 as Christmas gifts about 3 years ago. Everyone raved!! Can't imagine any one being disappointed. Our clogged once -- comes apart easily for cleaning and when reassembled worked as good as new!

I bought one of these over 4 years ago from another store for $40 and have used it practically every day since. As another reviewer said, simply tilt it slightly back towards your wrist as you make a full squeezing motion and the coffee will dispense with no mess. Recently the bottom moving mechanism starting separating from the plastic container area. I figure I've more than gotten my money's worth from it and went looking for a replacement. Am I glad I found one here!
