This review is from: Zevro MLS100 Dial-a-Spice Multi-Spice Canister (Kitchen)
This is a neat-looking device and a potential space-saver. Unfortunately, it's also the clumsiest spice-shaker I've ever encountered. First, it's surprisingly difficult to snap in the spice bins. Once that's accomplished, it's hard to "dial" to the spice you want; the mechanism feels sticky and doesn't really click when correctly set. Finally, the sifter holes are too small for many spices; for instance, cinnamon barely comes out. (Tip: The flow is somewhat better if you fill the bins only about 3/4 of the way, not fully.)
After tolerating this thing for several weeks, the "dial" broke when I tried to change spices, the top came off, and spices flew everywhere. The damage is irreparable. But even if the thing hadn't broken, I'd have looked elsewhere for my next spice shaker. |
