About the Author
Julia Townsend is an artist and an illustrator presently teaching at the American University of Dubai. She grew up in Noank, Connecticut and spent six years in Istanbul, where she frequently returns. This is her first book.

This book is a part of my daughters night time book rotation and is one of her favorites. In our last visit to Istanbul we had a blast visiting the tower and waved at Zeynep, Fikret and the other birds. Highly recommended.
